P2
BRIEF 2
Create an ad advertising a food or beverage aimed at the same target audience as BRIEF 1 (both genders, 15-20 year olds, interested in films, music, TV, Netflix, video games)
It must be no more than 30 seconds long.
Make sure you include a close-up product shot that has proper lighting.
Make sure you sell the product based on a persuasive technique, an idea that sells the food for a reason that is clear, and comes across easily and quickly.
Come up with lots of ideas and present the best three to the teacher, with the aim of using one.
You must get your final idea signed off by the teacher.
P2
Learners produce an appropriate plan for an advertising campaign that features audio-visual advertisements.
The plan includes:
a)
i) a proposal identifying the product being advertised;

iii) target audience; and
iv) campaign message
b)
campaign schedule containing
launch dates,
consideration of seasonal and calendar events (can you link it to Easter, Christmas, Eidh, summer holiday or anything else?),
location and
scheduling of advertisements (when they will be on TV for instance, on what channel)
c)
relevant legal/ethical issues
M2
As part of their advertising campaign schedule, learners
i) plan for the use of related print-based and/or audio advertisements that can be used as part of the advertising campaign.
ii) Learners explain relevant legal and ethical constraints and
iii) describe how the regulatory bodies’ codes of conduct and regulations affect their planned campaign
